Though we can keep the ‘dirt,’ and ‘used’ materials at a distance, we cannot wipe them away completely. We can recycle them by changing their shape, colour, smell and weight but they still exist in different forms. Iwonder how the sewage system has been developed by designers to work successfully, generation after generation, in every part of the globe. From the early civilizations of Mohenjo-Daro and Harappa, to the Romans, and to the present day, there has been proof of an architectural mechanism that removes ‘dirt’ from the residential part of society.
