During the 1960's, Bart Starr was one of the biggest names in football. He was the starting quarterback for the great Green Bay Packers teams of that era and will always be held in high esteem by fans of the team. -The first touchdown pass Bart Starr ever threw in his career came in a 17-16 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in November of 1956. It was a 39 yard pass in the first quarter to Billy Howton.
-The last touchdown pass of his career was a 65 yarder to John Hilton in the fourth quarter of a 20-12 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers on December 6, 1970.
-Only four players caught one touchdown pass from Starr and then never caught another one from him: Jack Clancy, Dave Hampton, Claudis James, and Joe Johnson.
-62 of Bart Starr's 152 total career touchdown passes, or a little over forty percent, were thrown for 30 yards or longer.
